harvest moon HELP!!!

ok this post is for freya, im having trouble with my harvest moon ioH game. I have met all the requirements for marrying vaughn but every time i try propose the blue feather he rejects me. plz help me, i need it really bad ive wanted to marry vaughn ever since i got the game. i also cant find a way to trigger the 4th heart event in the forest. i have tried every thing!!!

    Well, it would help if I knew what game you were playing. If you HAVE met all requirements for marriage, by the way, the individual MUST accept your Blue Feather, so you are missing something. If I am to help you, you must tell me what requirements you have met.

    im playing harvest moon island of happiness.
    i have upgraded my house all the way. i have the husband bed, i have all the main characters tht i need,the harvest goddess is at two hearts & vaughn is at the highest red heart. well there is one thing tht i i cant get to trigger, thts the 4th heart event in the forest but other than thti have all the requirements. plz help me with whatever im lacking. Thx(:
